Island Time Catering is the catering division of “The Food Shack- tacos, BBQ, & Street Eats” in Rhode Island serving a unique twist of tacos meets BBQ inspired flavors, flares, and cultures from travel throughout the Caribbean, west Coast, and Pacific. From beach style BBQ’s, taco bars, acai bowls or classic southern BBQ, our menus are composed of a fun and eclectic array of options that please even the pickiest of eaters!

Here at Island Time Catering we’re slingin’ clean ingredients, bold flavors and fresh ingredients since 2020. — We’re committed to raising the bar on casual catering by ditching the industry norms and demanding better ingredients. That means:
- No processed seed oils
- Fryin’ with tallow
- Grillin’ with avocado oil
- Baking’ with coconut oil
- Blendin’ with olive oil
- No enriched grains – Only clean, whole ingredients that fuel your body
- No chemical preservatives – Fresh food should always be just that: FRESH, period.
- No artificial ingredients- top shelf meats from grass fed beef, heritage pork, and organic poultry, locally thoughtfully, and intentionally sourced.

- It wasn’t easy finding the perfect products to represent The Food Shack & Island Time Catering. Years of testing, changes, and trial & error, we got it right, and we are proud to serve casual catering that doesn’t cut corners.

- We bake using coconut oil and unenriched 00 flour.
- We smoke all our meats low and slow over whole hickory logs.
- We grill all meats and veggies to perfection with our own blends of spices and rubs and a touch of avocado oil.
- Our sauces, marinades, and rubs are made in-house with clean ingredients and bold flavor.
